The staple of the British hangover diet and scourge of many an office cleaner, the Breakfast Bap is thoroughly satisfying, totally customisable and (with a high blood alcohol level) the stuff of legend.

I remember one place in particular across the road from an office I worked in that made me a Bacon, Sausage and Hash Brown brekkie on a soft farmhouse bap dusted with flour and the contents marinaded in HP sauce. This worked well with a bottle of Lucozade/can of Red Bull and a bottle of chocolate milk. Heart disease? Moi?

However, more recently I was served a HUGE Egg, Bacon and Sausage monster bap (8inchesx3) doused with lovely brown sauce. I ate half for lunch and could manage no dinner that evening. The remainder I gorged on for breakfast. It contained something like 4 rashers of bacon, four sliced sausages and two fried eggs inside the largest white roll I have seen.
