Thanks everyone!
Apart from melting in the heat it has been a good day.
Got a phone call from a net friend in Scarborough to wish me a happy birthday, which was a huge surprise as we dont keep in regular touch. He and his wife visited me a couple of years back when they were on hols in Scotland.
One of the new girls in the Co-op made a point of saying hello to me for the second time in 3 days.
A guy that me and 'Autist Formerly known as Flinch' used to share a flat with, in Sheffield 14 years ago, YIM'd me to wish me happy birthday - only spoken to him twice in the last year (he lives in the US now).
One of my ex work colleagues sent me a card.
Collected a parcel from the sorting office which was from my birthmum.
So feeling pretty good!
Not to mention my Gothador TR radio birthday special tomorrow night

I did have a good day thanks.
Liquid Indian and Zagreb came to visit for a couple of days too.
Being this sociable is exhausting
