h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

Last night i was pretty depressed, quite locked inside myself - if that makes sense.
Yesterday I had got up at 2am so was pretty tired, but i am trying to get back to sleeping at night rather than through the day, so i stayed awake till 11pm and then went to bed shattered.
I awoke at 6am to the foulest smell ever. Spiggy had had a colic episode, this involves nasty abdominal spasms resulting in - 3 times in the bedroom, twice in the living room (his bowels must be like the tardis!) plus he had vomited twice too - all over some nursing stuff, in particular the current register of Listed Veterinary Nurses.
Anyway, I had to leave at 8.30am for an appointment with the phlebotomist at my GP's, who as usual couldnt get my veins. (Still she is not as bad as the nurse)
But the good news (I hope ) is that it is now official - I am a Guru.
Mina asked me on Friday if i wanted to be one as she had seen me explaining stuff on a thread and thought i would be a good one!
So I have my badge now and been through the secret initiation process .
And i have my next batch of entries to Sub-ed so i may be a bit busy for a while, but i am sure no-one will mind if i have a small glass of tonight!

If its any help I managed to hobble to work today so at least I am getting better

no, there is 'scout' too but i am not familiar with what they do and dont like in the guide to go for that (stuff i think is ok they dont and vice versa, although we agree sometimes )

there's official field researcher which i am working on at the moment if i ever get the uni project done
