They are sign of hope for spring to come around here.
Sort of like the groundhog of Feb. some places.
Daffodils mean about 6 more weeks of snow here, since it mostly snows in the spring, rather than raining.

We had lots of snow..but this morning the daffodils are still there...just peeping through the snow
