I can't see any reason for any of them to have been on the boat, but you just don't know do you.

It's like, if you hear of a coach crash in Spain. You know someone out in Spain at the time. You know the likelyhood of them being on the coach are so slim...but it doesn't stop you wondering and worrying, does it.

Thank you for your concern Yes we are fine we are in Marbella Spain not
Bahrain. Though my son your cousin John and his family are all in Bahrain but they are well I rang them when I heard about the accident this morning. For interest the boat was not a cruise ship it was an open Dow with a built on top level that is used for dancing and partying. I happen to know the boat very well it used to be tied up near my boat in the Marina.What happened was the boat was chartered for a private party and there should have been only 100 on board but 130 turned up with loads and loads of party stuff so the boat was totally over loaded, the boat was only about a mile from the shore it turned over completely with about 67 deaths of which 27 are British people from a contracting company. Very tragic the people in Bahrain are in shock as its only a very small place.

My thoughts go out to those who have lost someone close
