We bought a new bin for the kitchen. Now I don't know what to do with the old one.

If I take it out to the wheelie bin and throw the bin in the bin, will it create an infinite loop outside the back door? I'm not sure I want that. A great big 20 GOTO 10 scenario in the back garden.

Do a scale test first... stick a mirror in a photocopier and see if you find Eddie's in the space/time continuum.

I've nothing to contribute but just had to mention the warm glow of nostalgia the '20 GOTO 10' reference engendered.

My manager and I have made '20 GOTO 10' jokes when in the lift post-fag break. We get funny looks.

I see your problem. This is certainly looking a bit infinite:

10 BIN = BIN
20 IF BIN >= BIN THEN GOTO 10

Maybe you could try putting the bin in the bin and be ready with the Ctrl-Z if the space-time continuum looks like it's about to cave in on itself.

On the basis that my kids also consider it OK to put refuse around the bin and think that's OK, how do you know which bin the dustbin men will take. They may consider the wheelie bin to be in the vicinity of the smaller bin, but not able to fit into the smaller bin and so summon teenage logic and take the larger bin.

Aarrgghh!!! My nickname is becoming a dustin for various fads, clubs, ephemera, etc!

Out of interest, if you put a bin inside a bin, and close the lid, does the bin inside still exist?

Just to bring you up to date, we filled it with recycling stuff and put it out. The recyclists took the stuff inside it but left the bin. And so it goes on.
