White stripes...
Dr E Vibenstein (You know it is, it really is.) Started conversation Jul 24, 2003
This decorating lark's not all it's cracked up to be. It would be fine if the previous occupant hadn't seen fit to paint all his walls and ceilings beige. It's a bugger to cover, I've given it two coats of white and it's still showing through. I think I'm going to have to paint everything black.

At least it's not silver walls and an orange ceiling, like my brother's bedroom. No wonder he moved down to Plymouth for uni, it's so he doesn't have to put up with that Llewellyn-Bowen colour scheme he chose

Yeah and with the red carpet in there it looks more like the interior of an industrial oven than a bedroom.

Actually, the bathroom's going to be goo... or something very similar. It's the alabaster I'm having trouble with.

Is that the variation that goes on really badly and still shows the colour that was underneath?

And is your name really Deborah?
All my ceilings have woodchip, and I'm a*sed if I'm ever taking it down.....

Woodchip, what a joy.
With EV's musical connections I thought this would have been about _the_ White Stripes.
Liam.

** couldn't agree more **
Well, I wouldn't have joined a conversation if it had the title 'Woodchip', would you?
