I went out into the garden this morning to start shaking the tree.
The tree wasn't there.
I waited and waited, but the tree didn't come back.
Maybe the tree will come back tomorrow.
Trees, eh? Can't live with 'em, can't chop 'em up for firewood.

The tree is still missing.
Maybe the tree will return tomorrow. If not I will have to ask someone, seeing as how nobody has bothered to tell me where the tree has gone.
