Merci!
It was nice; and quiet; just the way I like it.
How was yours?
HAPPY NEW YEAR

Dark and depressing with lashings of rum and a dozen viewings of Trading Places. Surprisingly enjoyable considering all the fuss!

Xmas was good, small & cosy etc.
New yr was abloody nightmare, the ultimate "you are not a NORMAL" trip ie I'm the guest from hell, put there to get the nice people brownie points in heaven ie I
--am vegetarian
--am English
--can't drink booze (but suffer when watching the rest of the world do so)
--can't dance anymore (& yes, it DOES piss me off)
--didn't like the music (no, putting "love me do " on full blast will NOT appease me!)
--don't drive, but not capable of walking home (so have to depend on the others, who are mindlessly incapable by then)
--won't even smoke dope (why should I feel mellow by now??)
I like you rev. I can be horrible around you & I know you can take it 'cos you can be horrible too.
Feel free to whinge back if you want (no worthies though, really can't be a*sed with it all)
ps its pi**ing down in la belle france; hope its better wherever you are!

I wholeheartedly agree with much of what you say. I drink but am cutting it down as I am getting fed up with the whole binge-culture in this country. When I get drunk I become painfully dark and introspective and easily annoyed by people around me, especially happy drunks.
I do smoke the reefer now and again though it helps to settle my mind a little.
You know the good thing about France is that there are a lot less Brits there than are here in Blighty.
I personally wouldn't describe your behaviour (or mine) as being horrible though, I'd say spirited! It's great to have a hearty whinge now and again!

Yes, a good whinge is a joy to behold!
Couldn't agree more with you about the "less Brits in France" bit.
(and there's nothing worse than a pi**ed up Brit, unless it was me in the 'old days'; glad I wasn't there to see it(!))
Hey, what about my alien then? Can you work out what rhythm he's dancing to? (no doubt indealien; far too way out for us Humanoids & anyway his(?) knees go backwards.) Know how he feels!
