h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

I've only been here for half an hour so you maybe already know about these things.

I'm using Brunel which may or may not be relevant. I seem to have brought the old - posts with me, my conversations show -1 post, -5 posts, you remember the sort of thing that happened from time to time at the beeb. Also, and this freaked me out for a minute until I clicked the link, on my space there is a link that's called BBC Homepage. When I clicked it I was taken to the Front Page but I did think about it for a while before clicking.

Thanks for all the good work.

I've also noticed that when I post to a conversation then return to my space I'm subscribed to the convo okay but my posting doesn't show in the column that shows last posted or whatever it's called. You know what I mean?

I've been checking some of the links on my PS and some of them work just the way they used to - others take me to the BBC tombstone page.

Just for your information one of the convos that haven't come over - or it has but for some reason the link doesn't work and although I posted to it it isn't appearing in my PS is - the Kangaroo Court http://wsogmm.h2g2.com/dna/h2g2/brunel/F6588679?thread=4016955 Isn't it lonely here or is that just me?

We've not let that many people in yet..

At the moment the internal links won't work - they go to to the BBC site. Once we've had the grand opening we'll put the redirection back on so all links from BBC.co.uk/h2g2/A12344
will go to h2g2.com/A12344

Failing that, you can just exchange the internal bbc urls with h2g2 ones (in your own entries).
