Still a few performance issues with the New H2G2 site. These problems don't happen on the old site (Alabaster skin).
1. Clicking on links to conversations or approved entries gives me an HTTP 500 Internal Server Error around 50% of the time. Refreshing the browser usually fixes it.
2. Clicking the browser's back button loads a blank page (no h2g2 page, no error message) around 50% of the time. Refreshing the browser usually fixes it, but sometimes it takes many refreshes.
(I'm using Internet Explorer 8 on MS Windows. It's around 11am GMT on Friday 21st Jan, 2011)

Am also getting a 500 internal server error when trying to post to a conversation thread, I couldn't refresh my way out of it, so have gone back to guide MK1 in alabaster, which seems to not be producing the internal server errors or message blocked due to offensive word error.

I suggest you only use the new system in order to test it, until we receive further instruction from the Eds regarding what we've found so far.

I get perfectly normal results with the back button. I'm using Chrome and Windows XP. I can't think there has ever been a problem with it for me.
I do get the server not found message though, but not that often.

Last couple of times in Guide MK2 didn't get any error messages (but I had to entirely stop using smileys as they seem to trigger the filth filter....)

14:30 GMT on 21/1/11, and the new site gives constant 500 errors. I'm guessing you've brought it down or something. I'll try again later.

I got a couple of 500 errors about five or ten mins ago, but eventually they did disappear.

I'm worn out from having to hit the refresh button that often. And now my conversation list is totally distorted, as if you made changes to the page width.
