Hi I do hope someone is subscribed to this help page.

I have tried to 'delete' some of my journal entries. I realise this is actually only 'hiding' them somehow, but when I have carefully followed the instructions, I get a message saying


>>You can't unsubscribe from another person's Journal


Why? Please help!

It's a bug. I've got that message, too, occasionally. Sometimes it helps to sign out and sign in again and find them gone, at other times, the removal works after having signed in again.

thanks for coming back to me so speedily B'elana. I already tried that - but maybe as I am signed in (computer 'remembers' me I will log out and try it again - Thanks - I will let you know

You may have to try several times.

How many is many? I've just re-started the paltop, logged in and out, and done it all over again. I think I'll go away and hope they vanish whilst I do something outside whilst the sun is out ( its so rare in the UK to see that sunny sky)

They will vanish at some point - or at least that's my experience.

Well one out of three has vanished - it is strange this place called hootoo.

And now the one that was removed has reappeared - even sillier.

Yep, I wanted to hide another of the two that are remaining. I'm not sure about the journal thing. I've got tired of looking at them
