Well, I've tried transparent GIFs and they, err, 'suck'... I'll leave 'em on a bit for people to laugh at...

FYI, I hated the goo and like alabaster much more...

& no, I don't know when it's scheduled for - but users uploading files to h2g2 space has been being floated/hinted at for quite a while & he's now saying "when we allow" rather than "if we allow"
