the 'Month' feature

I've been involved in a discussion about the 'Month' feature twice recently. The first was when I was wishing there was a place to see previous entries in a list, when two people told me about it. More recently I had cause to go looking for it, and only found it with the help of the Ask feature. It's such a great thing, especially for those like me who can't get here every day to see the front page. Is it possible to have a more prominent link to it from the front page? It's actually a named entry. If you type Month into the URL bar, you can go straight to it.
But a promo on the Front Page is also a good idea. We'll take a look at that.

it's not a beef exactly, but I'm not what you would call a newbie, and although I am subscribed to the Announcements, some of this stuff manages to pass me by.
I have a lot of patient friends here who tell me this stuff, but not everyone has, so it might be a help.

It's a very good point, because although it's an easy name to remember, you have to know it exists first, don't you?

While we're discussing what things should get promos, can I mention that I'd like to see more publicity for the h2g2 Calendar? I was looking at it the other day for the first time since it was started and had forgotten how cool it is.

A3332233 is the home page. There are links to all of the months, which list Edited Entries relating to different dates.

We've added a promo to the Front Page for the <./>Info</.>, ComingUp and Month pages for tomorrow. I'll see if the Calendar might fit into one of the existing Top Five groups...
