I noticed that in the University Project about Queen Victoria A13915181 in Pliny all the links at the top are A-numbers instead of Entry titles.
Not sure if this is actually Editorial Feedback or a bug.

It'll probably be called a 'feature'
Normally those links would have the form: Link text. The QV entries just have . The Brunel, Alabaster, Goo and even Plain skins all handle it graciously and display the entry title. Pliny doesn't.
Bug or feature? Pastey will tell us

But it does show correctly in other University projects.

I'll have a go at fixing this. The GuideML is incorrect, as the picture had been included within the paragraph of links. (As well as missing titles for these Entries.)
Pliny is not as forgiving over errors in GuideML as Ripley was. So, if you ever come across something not displaying in Pliny, and it does in Ripley, do let us know
Thanks Tav

Well I fixed it - but in doing so I noticed that the last two entries in the links are related Entries, but not part of the university project.
Wouldn't they be better as normal links?
I'd like Galaxy Babe's view here, as she is the author. Once we've a decision then it's a simple case of copying the links to the other entries in the series.

There's a bug in Pliny that "self-closing links" don't work properly. These are links of the form . In the old skins, you didn't have to provide the title of the entry - h2g2 would look it up and fill it in. In Pliny, this form of link just displays as the A number of the entry.

That posting didn't work either. I'll post it again.

There's a bug in Pliny that "self-closing links" don't work properly. These are links of the form LINK H2G2="A123456"/ with angle brackets around them, and no separate /LINK tag. In the old skins, you didn't have to provide the title of the entry - h2g2 would look it up and fill it in. In Pliny, this form of link just displays as the A number of the entry.

How does that affect links of that format in the REFERENCES section?

I agree the V&A children entry and the Victoria's chocolate gifts entry should not have been part of the banner, and I've fixed all the other banners
Thanks everyone
