Accessing a pre-BBC account

I would like to find out how I may access my old personal space that was established around 1999/2000. I don't have access to the email that I had used (athome is no more!), and when I tried to register with BBC I got a note that said a special character had been used. The previous login had periods in it, is this a problem? I wrote an EG Entry under that name so I would like to ammend the personal space (which is now hidden). Are Researchers allowed more than one active login?

Thanks.

"Have you accessed the account between 2001 and 2003, in the pre SSO period ?

If you have not the chances of your account still active are low. The Entries can be transferred by the italics however. "

I have not accessed it in a long time. I got an email reply that said that the transition period was over so there is no way that I can do anything to the account.

It's no big deal, I just wanted to put something on the old personal space that violated some guidelines and now states that the researcher hasn't found the time... etc.

I had one Edited Entry in that name and would prefer to have something on the personal space. I am not interested in transferring stuff or using the profile, I just don't like the lame blank greeting.

Thanks
