A protest from P.U.D.D.I.N.G.

We at P.U.D.D.I.N.G. (A749784) wish to register our outrage at this disgraceful piece of cheerfulism.
WHY do people people need to more?
'Feel the contagiousness of a ' - you mean the disease that's making you grin like an idiot is infectious?

Hear, hear! The last thing *I* need is yet a grinning smartiepants telling me to 'cheer up'!

Where's a smiley when you need one?
Well?

I would like to add my name to this protest.
But let's just hold our horses, metaphorically speaking, for a moment, eh? If, as the smile page claims, a smile is a peaceful action, there need not be any need for PUDDINGs to be wantonly smiled-at. Indeed, I believe PUDDING was in fact set up as a sanctuary for those that did not want to be smiled-at, so there need not really be any conflict.

Yes yes there are all these benefits of smiling, and if you want to smile, that is fine (with me at least, I don't know if I speak for PUDDING) but if you force us to smile when we don't want to smile, we'll only get grumpy, so we may as well not smile in the first place.

Also assumably a frown uses more energy so you only have to smile say, 150 times and that's the same as a 10-minute jog.
