A Conversation for Katharine Hepburn - A Tribute

Hypatia

When you're doing a tribute to someone who had so many accomplishments it's difficult not to make it sound encyclopedic. I wouldn't worry about that part. As to not capturing her essence, perhaps you could include a few examples of her wit, which was formidable. And one of the things that I think characterized her was her refusal to play the part of a celebrity. She was a down-to-earth person who lived a normal life (as much as possible) and who shunned the spotlight. She was as reclusive as Garbo, but I think her neighbors honored her privacy and pretty much treated her as anyone else instead of like this hugh star. There should be examples of this available in articles about her.

I'm going to be late to work smiley - yikes. I'll read it more closely when I get a break. I think you've made a great start.

Boots

Hi Folks just having a pad along the corridors and came into this den. Really pleased to find some familiar faces! This looks like an interesting place to spend some time. It would be fun to do some research for someone perhaps you two would be kind enough to explain a little more and possibly show me the signpost to the start. I don't think I want to come up with the subject, not yet anyway, but wouild like to scurry around looking for information that could be useful.
Love this subject and entry btw some of the others seem...are you allowed to say dull?
Whoops boots rushes out of the den in case he gets Wolf and Hypatia into trouble
Take care
