Some pedestrians seem unable to understand the basics of moving through a crowd.Similarly they often stop simply because they fancy it,say in front of a shop window.My only conclusion is that these people are car drivers learning what we peds have known since birth and thus should wear a plate attatched to their necks by see through string then we would know them for the bewildered yet well meaning fools they are.

Maybe the crowd should be a bit more flexible. And if the pavements were wider and the carriageway narrower ...
