Hi Annette!
When you click the 'Edit' button on your page, do you see one or two sets of the and tags at the top? There should only be one of each

Try removing the
at the top, and the
towards the end
You've forgotten the first " in the link for Gossip, it should begin like this:
<LINK HREF="
Just after the tag, you have an extra 'R' in the tag, and also in the closing tag
Further down, you've forgotten to close this tag:
<PICTURE EMBED="LEFT" BLOB="B62387"
You need to complete it like this:

This might be a silly question, but very far down on the Edit page, have you marked 'GuideML' and clicked on the Change style button?

There was a '/' missing in one of your links, but I've forgotten which one:
<LINK HREF="http://
There should always be two //
Then I had some trouble with a space in one of the link closing tags, it should look like this with no spaces:

Be sure to check all your smiley tags - I think a saw a '-' instead of a '=' somewhere, and also the " missing around a smiley name - every little thing counts!
I think I found all the errors - check here if this is what you have in mind for your page: <./>A1083575?skin=plain</.>
...and this link to see the GuideML: <./>test1083575?skin=plain</.>

No problem!
Would you happen to be using a digibox? If so, then you have my sympathy - as I understand it digibox users can't use the 'copy&paste' but have to type every tag themselves...
...which on the other hand is a very good way to learn to understand GuideML!

Who? *looks around* Me? Oh no, I've never been on LD, I would hardly know what it is if it hadn't been for the sudden influx of LDers to h2g2 when LD closed down (at least I think they did?)
I recently celebrated my 3rd h2g2 anniversary, so I guess that makes me one of the 'inventories' eh? I even remember what it was like before the BBC took over!
(OK, now I *really* feel old!

Have fun exploring the h2g2 site!
I know I *still* find new things - I'm currently reading one of today's edited entries on the front page, about the ship Batavia - it's well written and the tension is growing!
Sometimes when I feel bored I have a look at the <./>info</.> page - lot's of interesting information to be found there!

I'm fine, because today the weather is fine! (as opposed to yesterday when we had a nasty persistent little drizzle all day long and grey skies)
If/when you get a bit of time, you'll no doubt (maybe you already have) discover that you can spend a *lot* of time on h2g2!
