Hi, Raukodraug!
They don't seem to want to give a list of ranks on the DP site, but I think that will have to change when more teams develop more team spirit. (The team from Usenet rec.arts.sf.fandom (Rassef) have got very active recently and I notice that they're very interested in the ranks too.)
Anyway, it was at 400 that I changed from Ace to Proofer Savant. And I've just hit the 1,000 mark and been upgraded to Master Proofer

Still, I don't remember the first rank for proofers. Is it newbie? I just can't remember.

I'm pretty certain it was Newbie.
I'm afraid that I've not been doing much to add to the team's total as I got p***ed off with being unable to follow the thread of the books and I've now diverted of into the Post Proofing stage - ie taking the pages proofed in the first two stages and joining them together into a finished book while looking out for anything missed in the earlier rounds. It's good fun, but hard work and I think I will probably pop back to the proofing for the occasional break

Just for information - I was wandering the forums and apparently if you manage 10,000 pages you get 'Rare Talent', don't know what's before that though.
