hi, I`m new to all this and this is my very first entry!

I've never heard of The Frustrators, but then as i'm not much into music, that would expalin why.

You've put a lot of work into this entry, but I think it very likely your'll need to make a few changes for it to be acceptable for the Guide, the Scouts are very busy volunteers, I'm sure one will be along soon to advice you.

thanks! I am hoping to get some input from some of my friends who are into the band but they seem to need a gentle kicking at the mo to get them moving. lol

There are a few areas of this Entry that seem a little bit too informal/jokey for the Edited Guide. The last sentence for example:

"If you are intrigued in the slightest bit, or just have a few minutes to waste while avoiding the job you know you should have handed over to your boss three days ago...go check the website out for all the facts, pictures, song and video clips to www.thefrustrators.com"

Don't worry though, as this can be easily sorted out

Adeline is owned by Billie Joe and his wife. sorry if it does seem a bit too jokey...but its that sort of band. and I`m that sort of person. I`ll try and work on it over the next few days and sort it out. acually, I found out today that they have a manager. not surprising maybe, but I was told he is a monkey.....doen`t surprise me in the slightest. lol

hey Rocketman, dont know if you are still subscribed to this convo..but I`ve just been doing some work on my entry. Its a little longer now, and hopefully a bit better set out..with headings and stuff. I thought it would come up with those under lined but obviously I need to work out the right codes for that, not just keep my fingers crossed and hope.

Good stuff netty - have you heard the song on The Clash's first album - "I'm so bored with the USA"? Side 1, track 3 - there's probably a bit of an influence there as well...

nope...I`m ashamed to say I dont own anything by the Clash. I do know that Terry, the frussys` guitarist must be a big fan as he has The Clash tattooed on his arm! If I could get my comp working properly I`d maybe try downloading some of the songs people keep recommending to me. As it is I`ll have to wait until I win the lottery to buy them all.

If you want to put nice subheaders, bold text, links and a load of other cool stuff into your entry, then you can use GuideML. It's a bit complex at first, but it will improve the entry. Find out about it at the <./>GuideML-Clinic</.>.

It's not essential though. If/When this entry gets picked, someone (a subeditor) will do the hard work for you

thank you! I`ve just been having a look at that actually...gonna go see if I can at least underline the headings. nice to know I can maybe get somebody with a slightly bigger brain than me to do the work if necessary though.

For the headings just put a tag around them. Eg,

Make sure you change the entry's style to GuideML (as a pose to plain text) before you begin using GuideML tags

Pictures..(or smileys)..are not allowed in Guide Entries....

Someone will correct me if I'm wrong..but as far as I'm aware..this is the Peer Review proceess..5 are chosen each day..they go to a Sub-Editor..to be 'polished up'..then 1 of each 5 is allocated for a picture..if I'm wrong..I'll learn something new here too....

You could have 2 entries..1 serious one..which will hopefully be selected..edited..&..'polished up' for an Edited Entry..&..a fun entry about The Frustrators..(adding..and their humour..or something simnlar to the title)..where you could but pictures in..it'd still be part of the guide..but..not edited..&..'polished'....
