What is this bus you talk of? Has the Grim Reaper been replaced by a bus service?

Is there not supposed to be an announcement when an entry is moved?
This entry has been removed from Peer Review because:
a) It does not match the Guidelines for writing Edited Entries.
b) Nobody has the faintest notion what it is about.

perhaps writing an announcement in a language that the author would have understood was too much of a tall order, so they didn't bother

We could write the announcement and then use machine translation into German and back to English. That should do it!

There is a clinical term for this: hypergraphia.

Actually looking back on this thread, we didn't try to be polite. There were a number of other similar entries and we tried politeness there. By the time this one came along, we'd got fed up. But I don't know whether the others were by the same researcher. The one I remember in particular was "The problem is religious".

Actually there's no really great response you can make. The only one that is appropriate is "please seek help", but if a person is already psychotic, there's very little chance of them understanding or heeding you. I guess I mainly take exception to the suggestions that the writer was on drugs. That may not be the case at all, the person may simply be mentally ill. Such people deserve compassion, not ridicule. I guess I feel strongly about this because I am bipolar myself.

Call it 'offloading'. We have had *reams* of this stuff sent to PR recently, and we're only trying to preserve what's left of our own sanity by using an adult approach: humour. He has ignored all polite injunctions to modify his approach. The other options are (a) screaming at this individual in the hope that he'll stop, (b) getting the Italics to ban him totally, (c) trying to ignore him while still having to wade knee-deep through this garbage or (d) persistently yikesing his stuff. All of which are particularly dispiriting.

JEllenJ42, it might be constructive to do an entry on hypergraphia and similar psychosis and then we could use these entries as constructive examples of the condition. (win-win?)
I am not medically trained and don't feel qualified to write such an article or provide diagnosis myself, but if you have access to proper texts or have the training, you might be able to do this.
Hmm?

Would somebody please explain what hypergraphia is. I'm having difficulty following this thread without knowing what everyone is talking about.
I could possibly work out hypographia but hypergraphia has me stumped.
