MaW: I'm intrigued by the possible limit of abstraction that a cartoon can be taken to and this week's is a step in that direction (more pretension in cartoons say I!). It is Eustace, at the centre, peering through the gap in the door, casting light but linked to darkness.

Croz: yes, bit self indulgent that reference (more self indulgence in cartoons say I!). It was knowing on my part, unwitting on Eustace's.

Swiv: Am I to take it that you never use the smiley - winkeye smiley? (Less eyes in cartoons say I!)
