I don't know the name - but I bet you will - the effects created for Gollum/Smeagle in The Two Towers, a stunning visulisation of a literary concept.

Surely it has to be The Two Towers for Gollum and shear scale, though the Ents weren't quite right for me. Star Wars Episode II relied on too much CGI for my liking.
