okay, but I got a cookie, not biscotti, it said COOKIE on the label and it is clearly round and flat. And furthermore, it's just a few sugar cookies.

Okay, now I gotta go. (do you really think we might have been rude and arogant to the Colonel?)

not really to him, but about him. And even so, only a little. It's hard to express the range of emotions with words, even with s

You know, this is a crazy thing to hear out of me, but I trust the American Government on this one. I buy the Project Mogul explanation. the scenerio that works for me is, Brazel found a field of junk, the Army Air Corps collected it, and that's pretty much it for facts. Most of the rest is playful storytelling, honest confusion, willful and accidental distortion, etc. I am pretty much convinced that there was not another crash sight, that there were no bodies. As you can probably guess, I don't put much stock in eyewitness testimony, not because eyewitnesses are not god, honest, well-meaning people, but because memory is a weird process of far from perfect re-creation, not the output of a digital camera.
now that I've vented, I think you should make liberal use of the phrase "according to some, unsubstantiated reports . . ." for example, in relation to the nature of the "struts and foil". None of the material has ever been subject to tests, so it is not really accurate to make categorical descriptions of its physical properties. Again, "according to reports, it didn't burn" etc.
but that's just my opinion
I'm not really back yet. (and Survivor's on tonight)

I hate survivor, I stopped watching after the first time they ate icky stuff. I'll look into the according to facts things...
I'm not quite sure about what I think. I think that someone still isn't telling the truth.

I'd really like to emphasize two things:
1) I hate survivor too, but I keep watching it. It's one of my few guilty little pleasures, and
2) what I said in my last post was just an expression of how I would write it; it's just my opinion. And I must agree that somebody isn't telling the truth about Roswell. In fact, I don't think anybody's really telling the truth and I don't think anybody is consciously lying. I suspect the truth anyone would be satisfied with has long evaporated. All that's left is hobbies and money-making schemes, and everybody really is honest. Even the Government. I mean, it's pushing sixty years ago; if there ever was much in the way of documentation, its forgotten, routinely destroyed, accidently destroyed, misfiled, crumbled away on acidic paper, or otherwise lost to the knowledge of mortals. A conspiracy wouldn't be needed to explain the loss. It just happens. But again, it's just my opinion.
Have a good evening. I may get back later. It's bath time.

1) I think that someone must know what happened. I do doubt that it's worth finding out. Quite frankly, I'm very very cynical and somehow practical. I am almost certain it got blown out of proportion.
2)You take baths? I tried one a while ago, and it felt so dirty afterwards... feels like stewing in your own filth...
is just a dirty

Of course, I can read a few articles I haven't had time to read until recently. Wheelchair tapdancing sounds... fascinating.
