PS: did you hear that Radio 4 program a few years ago telling the story of Cromwell's head? After he was hanged, the corpse got beheaded and the head was stuck on a spike, where it got woodworm. Or something like that. It would make a brilliant Guide entry by itself.

That does sounds like it would make a good entry! I know nothing about the subject though. Abi seems quite interested in heads on spikes, maybe that's an idea.

Oh, I can suggest to Abi two heads that should be on spikes at the moment, if she'd care to indulge her interest.
