Thank you for the response Annie, time has moved on now and some of the pieces picked up. Then I came across an old "blog" of the Friends & Family newsletter that kept them all informed of progress, so we hoped, and back it all came.
But saying that I'm glad it's still there as a reminder of the funny moments as well as the sad.
