I still remember how confusing I found everything when I first joined h2g2 - especially the GuideML thing (I'm as far from a 
as you get) and I found the <./>GuideML-Clinic</.> a bit complicated for someone who had never heard about tags and closing tags before...
Finally getting the hang of it, aided by wonderfully helpful people at h2g2, I thought I'd write an entry for those completely new to GuideML/HTML/XML or whatever, to help them getting started
This resultated in 'Spicing up your user page' A690518 - and I even managed to learn some new tags myself while writing it!
And I'm proud of it - I think it serves its purpose, namely to be an introduction for beginners to GuideML!

Yeah, I think GuideML does take a while to learn. But there are some great teachers here on hootoo
