am sooo glad it wasn't just me having "bitchy female" thoughts since I really didn't think she looked good in Chicago or perhaps that was the peroxide hair and silver spangly outfit making her look anaemic amongst other things
(anyone who can make Zeta Jones look slightly fat for half a minute is really too thin)
have had Chicago songs going round and round my head for weeks now, and while Zeta Jones was fantastic - what was with Richard Gere's accent?

That girl needs to eat soemthing, looked so much nicer when she was Bridget.
(Just don't ask about Americans doing accents of any kind, it's not worth it)

well, he's American, he shouldn't have needed to faff around with accents - and it was scary at points, like he was trying to be a twenty-something romantic lead, which he shouldn't ever be allowed to do. Now if they'd cast Hugh Jackman...
Yeah - Zellweger did look so much better as Bridget, but like you could convince her of that!

But Richard Gere does have something. (Saw Pretty Woman the other night, don't wuite understand why we all like someone who got dumped because his girlfriend spoke to his secretary more than him, then goes and sleeps with a prostitute, but we do)

but the accent...
loses all appeal instantly in Chicago for that. But yes, did quite like him in - can't remember what it's called all of a sudden - he's a lawyer, defending a choirboy (Edward Norton) of murdering the bishop, against Laura Linney who happens to be his ex. That's going to bug me now.

Primal Fear.
Sorry, everyone, didn't notice the thread till now.
(The hamster cheek gag has gone down very well for something I nearly cut on the grounds of excessive bitchiness. I was talking to Spea on the phone the other night and she was amused by it as well.)

ahhhh, yes.
Did y'know, Edward Norton's never been in an independent film, they were all studio financed. I actually never realised. The weirdness of things I learn from magazines I don't buy.
Key: Complain about this post
