apart from making the site names into links, and adding "go" and "backgammon" as games you often find, I can't think of anything that needs adding to this.
well done.

thanks again, RhoMuNuQ. Also, i've made the suggested changes, how does it look now?

No problem
The main thing I have to suggest is that you add links to any edited h2g2 articles on the games. For example to A73270 - Chess. That syntax is slightly different: Chess

I've added a few links to other entries. Does anyone notice anything else?

Great!
By the way, I'd suggest putting the links as the titles -- for example [LINK TO CHESS] - The classic game...

It looks good to me!
Perhaps Yahoo games could be added? That's got lots of online games, free accounts and calculated ratings. It's entirely up to you of course!
Just one other very minor point from me, at the top, completly = completely

Well, I think the reasons for playing online, and the ways of playing online have been given too little space in the entry. The list of games with explanations, most of which people will know already, takes up a very large chunk. You might want to skip the descriptions all together and just link to pages here for the ones that have them, Go A892145 , Chess A73270 hmmm, seems there's room for a few entries on board games.
As I said, you should focus a little more on why one would play games online. Expand on the reasons you've listed. And also add a little more about ways of playing. You mention time outs and email, but you should mention a little more about the lenght of such time-outs. Some game sites have mostly near real time games, other games are more like correspondence chess.
Well, that's my oppinion anyways. Good luck.

Thankyou NAITA, I'll look into making the changes you suggested. I should have an updated version shortly.
