Hi everyone... some good news at last: it seems that the problems i had with the PC are now sorted [don't know how i've done it tho'..] So, that means that even so i am busier then ever in Real Life [have to do four evenings a week w*rk for financial reasons..] i will still be able to pop in as much as possible... A progress considering the fact that i couldn't post much these last days..

First task i'm going to do as soon as possible is to work on my personal space and make it digibox accessible again... If [i think it is anyway] the filtering problem is really sorted, then i will try to make up for the time wasted and will update as many h2g2/LDers Space's pages as possible in the coming days...

I'm glad to be back in a full posting capacity...

What you been upto lately?

Apart from w*rking more [], i've been busy trying to make this PC work the way i want... It sure gave me a lot of headaches as i couldn't post most of the time... But now, it seems to behave ok.. Considering that it's not the latest model and still uses Window95 [which means that i can't get Blueyonder's Broadband] it's not too bad... well, it's better now anyway... Had a lot of problems trying to post/login/etc... i couldn't even update my own space... The list of problems i had would be too long to type on here, but let's say that as long as it carries on behaving the way it does _now_ i will be more than happy...

Oh yeah, we've got a DVD player now... not really a luxury as the CD player was on its last leg anyway... the video player was getting old as well... so, now we have something working properly...

W*rking-wise, well it had to be done... I needed a more regular income... and that still gives me some free time to do my french tutoring... so it's not a too bad deal after all... got a bit of travelling to do tho'... Might use that time to write down a few notes for when i update the h2g2/LDers space's pages... At the moment it's "might"... Hopefully by next week i will be able to try that...

So, yep... quite busy... but i don't mind... well, i don't mind _now_ anyway as this PC will hopefully help making up for the time i can't be online...

I might not make any sense at the moment.. hehe.. I'm just recovering from the shock seeing this machine suddenly behaving at last after two/three weeks of trying to sort out the problems it had... It was a surprise as it happened quite unexpectedly... I'm certainly not complaining as i was starting to give up on the idea that this PC will ever work properly one day...

Anyway, i have to go offline soon... but i will definitely pop in tomorrow afternoon... It will be nice to say hello to everyone before going to w*rk...
