While looking around to see what kind of two-way player question I could put together, I came across one Doug Buffone (as opposed to buffoon... don't tell him I said that) who played both center and linebacker at university, but only LB in the NFL. He played 15 seasons for the Bears, from 1966-80. He had a lot of picks for an LB, and he got his career started off right. His first two picks were against two Hall of Fame quarterbacks.
Name his first two victims.

If his career started in 1966 at the Bears, I'd guess one of them *must* have been Bart Starr. The other, I'd be guessing at someone like ... Johnny Unitas.
Where on earth, did you find out information like this?

Good guesses, both. I guess I made it a bit too obvious when I said they were both HoF'ers... who else would we know?
I just did a search on two-way and NFL, and a page on this guy came up. I thought it was interesting enough to present as a question.
Point and Q to you...

IMHO it was a very good question. A changeup from our usual multi-parters
As for being obvious I had some possible backup HoF QBs
- Bobby Layne (Detroit - late 50s possibly made it to the 60s).
- YA Tittle (NY Giants - 1960s, possibly not HoF).
- George Blanda (Bears so unlikely to have been him, but he played for four teams although I think he was in the AFL with the Oilers in 1966).
- Fran Tarkenton (Minnesota 70s, but around in the 60s with the Giants I believe).
- Bob Griese (more a 70s QB but he might have been around in the Dolphins 1st year).
So there were, I think, some other options to be chosen ...
