Tarzan Swing

Post 1

Clio, Dentonite, Libtech, Procrastinator and HNM

I read in a book on Canadian slang (sorry can't remember which one) that the apparatus known as a "Tarzan Swing" (A rope attached to a branch hanging over a lake or other body of water that you swing on over the lake and then jump off at the apex of your swing to fly into the water) by my mother growing up on Ontario was dubbed a "Zunga" by the very town in which I live. Powell River B.C. This word was apparently first heard 20 or so years ago so if it has spread throughout the country please let me know.
