I loved June Squibb in "Nebraska." I thought she was the highlight of the film.
What I didn't realize at the time was that she had been in so many movies and plays by that point. She played a stripper in the stage version of "Gypsy." She sang "I'm electrifying, but I'm not even trying." I wish could have seen her do that on stage, but I was hundreds of miles away, and not yet ten years old. Oh, well.
