This week's title is The Flowers That Bloom in the Spring, Tra La, and features an AI caricature of the editor sitting at a typewriter on a ridiculously small desk, surrounded by those words. The images are, clockwise from upper left: Tadpoles and newts in a pool, an array of deep-purple irises, branches of pink dogwoods, a backlit stained-glass window, tiny blue wildflowers, grumpy editor, dandelions in a cluster, bright yellow daffodils and tulips growing together, and yellow-and-orange double tulips growing among the tall grasses on a Scottish beach.

Now that we are 25 and all grown up, what is different? Absolutely nothing. There was a bank holiday in England. Half the staff are on holiday somewhere, so I expect photos in the future. (It's always 'photos tomorrow', never 'photos today'.) Sasha and Willem and Tavaron got busy, though, and Paigetheoracle checked in from Scotland with some quirky stuff. The rest of you lazy bums left me to do it myself.

So y'all get a flower show.

It's a special flower show. A domestic flower show. You won't believe how many mindbogglingly amazingly photogenic blooms are out there, all over the place, to be looked at and preserved in pixels. For free! Nobody's charging anything. No tickets required. Nature is downright anti-capitalist. If it's not careful, Congress will start an investigation.

So enjoy the show. Which is also free. You don't have to say anything, but an occasional ooh or aah might be nice. Or you can save your comments for the serial novels, because the writers have been hard at work and the stories are pretty interesting. If Tavaron's B-Ark rejects don't make you laugh, you don't deserve literature. I might point out that she makes her own models. I actually do research for mine. Not that you care.

Nature is spying on us: ask Sasha. We spy back. We've got the better deal out of it because nature is prettier than we are. Meantime, there are jokes. Pretend to get the punchlines, please.

I went to a concert and snuck some pics of the Presbyterians' windows. They have pretty good taste. The AI on my computer, though, has terrible taste. It and I argued. I kept the receipts for you to enjoy.

Have a good week out there. Go appreciate some flowers. Take your antihistamines. And send me more Stuff!
