My grandmother used to tell tales about going into the Catskills on weekends, and the horses knew how to find their way back home afterwards. When I watch feature-length cartoons set in fairy-tale times, I like to watch the horses' reactions to what the people are doing. Quite often the horses are better judges of character than some of the people.

The horses are also frequently better actors. 
Elektra and I are horse-noticers when it comes to films, too.
