That looks like one healthy rat to me.
Rats can be really resourceful. We used to have pet rats (ladies only, for apparent reasons). At some point 27 at the same time after we took care of an 'accident' at some other rat owner. It is a good testing ground for names, if you don't have kids yet.
This one looks like Polgara, a very friendly rat.
