Looks like this took place before the invention of the full size knee.
It reminds me of yesterday's rowing regatta. Drinks afterwards were at the Club house of the local Rugby club where they supplied three litre tankards of beer for self service refilling, to increase the throughput capacity of the bar.
Did I mention that my team was assigned starting number 42?
