What is the relationship between bear and cat here? Is the bear worried that having a black cat on him will bring him bad luck? Is the cat smirking that he can subdue a much larger predator? Is it past feeding time, and the cat will hold the bear hostage until the cat is fed?
Did someone read a manual on taking interesting photos, and conclude that juxtaposing opposites (big and little in this case) would earn a Pulitzer prize?
Maybe the cat is neurotic, and thought that the bear would make a good therapist, but the bear groaned at the prospect....
