Toy car park with car hand cranked elevator, I mean. My parents went nuts on the elevator bell. I loved it.

Recently parked in a multistory car park. It was annoing to see how many people parked across the lines, taking up two spots because they cannot drive with any form of precision. (Some were clearly on purpose).

To be fair, car widths have been increasing gradually over many years – I recently saw a German 1920s family car disguised as a tank that was about the size of a modern mobility scooter.

Car parks believe in cramming as many cars inside as possible to maximise profit, so their parking spot widths haven't adjusted to compensate the wider cars trying to park inside them.

I also sometimes wonder if they couldn't build them with slightly less of those scary concrete columns. (sometimes one for every two spots) Probably not, since a few years ago a brand new one collapsed even before it opened. (use of sub standard rebar and concrete over larger unsupported distances)

There definitely are more columns in car parks than newspapers.

I was in a zoo giftshop and was surprised that the main toys they sold were dinosaurs, there was a large shelf of DHL vans (a German delivery company) and also space shuttles, which sadly if you aren't a teenager or older, you won't have been alive long enough for them to have been used in your lifetime.

I do wonder how many children really go into a zoo desperate to buy a yellow lorry delivery lorry.
