A Conversation for Colours of Wildlife: Arrowmarked Babbler

It's hard to figure out what birds think they are doing

Post 1

Birds regularly hit the side of my house. They rarely hit it hard enough to break their necks (I guess they would only do that once, but they almost never do). As I sit at my computer and look out the window, I see birds sitting in the gutter on my neighbor's roof, sifting debris out of it so it falls to the ground. Are they looking for food? Building nests? Trying to drive me crazy? (It's a short drive in any event).

So, your babblers would not stand out if they came into my yard. It's just that I already have birds, and they might not enjoy the competition.
