We almost lost our rhododendron last Summer during the drought. It took some heroic watering t save it, but it's doing well now. (I took pictures of it in bloom, but they aren't ready yet). If I had my druthers, we would have the kind of rhododendron that is really fragrant, but maybe it would cost a lot more.
Anyway, that color is awesome. Great photo!
