A Conversation for The Poetry of Lilacs

It's been an unusually long season for lilacs -- two weeks and counting so far. At the height of the infestation, I would wake up at 5:00 in the morning with plugged up sinuses (I'm allergic). Now I can sleep until almost 6:00. The first wave of lilacs has passed, and the second wave is in full array. Pictures are okay, of course, as well as poetry.
