My daughter was talking about chiplate choc cookies just yesterday. Must have been the gravitational pull of this beauty.

The definition of "slice" can vary wildly and can be culturally restricted. Where I live, pies usually go in 8 pieces (10 pieces for most of the rest of the country) My mother always managed 12-14 slices. I once encountered someone (baker's son) who just cut the pie in two pieces for lunch, although he later complained of an upset stomach.
