Mountain snow is good for watering Spring plants

It gets warmer in the lowlands than the highlands in early Spring. Plants are coming up, or being sown for agriculture. They get watered when the mountain snow starts melting, if meltwater is properly diverted.

(thousands of years ago, some smart people noticed this, and began cultivating crops. The down side is that nutrition suffered as people clustered together in farming communities and became more numerous. Hunter-gatherer societies could get more variety. This is off-topic)

So, yes, snow in the mountains is nice. I'm glad you got these nice shots. smiley - ok
