There's a moon to inspire songwriters.

It's a striking picture. The brightness of the moon stands out, against the dark foreground and a bank of cloud. smiley - applause

Still trying to figure out the foreground. I think I see a body of water and maybe some kind of white house?

Long ago, on the Andy Williams show, Kate Smith commiserated with Andy about the thousands of songs that have "moon" in the titles.

CRE, the white house is actually my workshop and I think the reflection off my greenhouse may give the impression of water!

Looks magical, but, in reality, just a snapshot from our bedroom window. smiley - cheers

I'm curious.

What accounts for the white band that goes from top left to bottom right?

If you're talking about the lens flare from the moonlight, I think God takes credit for that mate!

The view from my bedroom window usually includes several birds in the treetops in front of it (Doves, magpies, tits) and the power line cables.

My bedroom window gives me a vista that is dominated by the enormous trunk of a white oak tree. It's really thrilling to see such a huge tree. There's a trailer right below the tree, and the occupant of the trailer often complains that the branches will fall on his roof (One actually did a little over a year ago).

If I w3ant to se the moon, it is visible from my living room window. I can sit at my computer and look out and sometimes see the moon. In the morning, the sun comes through the same window, and I have to shade my eyes so I can read what'so n my computer screen.
