Okay, Yogi Berra didn't say the quote in the subject line, but I had to work the forked -tongue meme in somehow. Paleface speak with forked otngue? Well, this snake doesn't have a pale face.
I'm trying to be witty, and probably not doing very well.
Maybe I'll be in better form next week.

Snakes fascinate me. I once picked up a ribbon snake and ended up getting a tetanus shot from the doctor. (I didn't expect it to bi me.)

Hello Paulh and Minorvogonpoet, and thanks! Snakes rule in my book, they're very wonderfully adapted thingies! And pretty, the neatness of their scales is amazing.
I haven't been bitten by a snake yet ...

They are beautiful, and most of them mind their own business. If a human comes along, the snakes go into hiding.
