I wrote this for December's 'winter' theme, drawing on descriptions of the Frost Fairs, and memories of Dickens. I hadn't planned any further episodes - I'd need to do yet more research!

I guess it's fine as a stand-alone. It seemed like something that was going somewhere, but don't feel pressured.
