Hullo Mister from the Wirral

Heavens and lordy, have to get out the smelling salts here, me lad. The lady might faint. heheh.

This is a slice of gritty history, but you're using what I would call a painterly writing style. Like, for me, its kind of like a Francis Bacon painting, raw, but someone has to go there and bring back the story, and there's kind of like an earthy magic in that honesty ..

Sort of thing, like.

I was asking mvp just now, so I'll ask you also. How is it for you, researching all this history from your local area? Does it give you weird dreams? Or is it quite awesome, walking about where it all happened? You're very brave. I couldn't do it.

Great work! smiley - applause

I'm learning a lot more than I ever knew. We are lucky to live somewhere with so much history, no matter how much blood and gore!

It's amazing how this month's stories share similarities, occupations and wars, adventure and new frontiers, Clans clashing. Very different writing styles but all about people just trying to live their lives.

No dreams but daydreams.
